Kagoshima is famous for active volcano, Sakurajima, Shochu , Satsuma sweet potato and etc.

If you are spending a night, please visit Kagoshima's biggest downtown area called Tenmonkan and enjoy some of the Kagoshima's famous food, such as Jidori, Kibinago, Satsuma ramen and others.

Tenmonkan is also very attractive during day time.
You may be able to find some neat stores which you did not notice during night time.
